Are you interested in Art History?
Then Artistory might be for you. It is a group of art enthusiasts who meet on (typically) four Saturday mornings per year to hear talks on various artists or movements. There are also occasional visits, usually to local exhibitions.
We have four lectures planned for 2025/6:
6th December - Roger Simpson - 'Ansel Adams and the Landscape of American Conviction'. More info here

9th May 26 - Stained Glass - Stained Glass Museum, Ely, about stained glass, the museum's collection and displays
19th Sept 26 - Marion Arnold - subject TBA
5th December 26 - Mike Baldry - Erich Heckel in Flanders, a War 'Madonna', painted for German WWI soldiers at Christmas or Theophile Steinlen, a Swiss painter based in Paris late 1800s who influenced Picasso and Hopper
and possibly one or more group visits, to be confirmed
Meetings are held at Anteros, in Fye Bridge Street, Norwich, NR3 1LJ (next to The Merchant's House) and run between 10.30 and 12.30 including a short coffee break. There is no subscription fee but to cover running costs we charge £10 per lecture which is payable in advance.
